Hiring! Mountain Bike Guide


With the growth of our mountain bike guiding and mountain bike skills instruction program, we are trying to find women and men to guide rides and help teach clinics with us! At the Arrowhead Bike Farm, we take pride in getting beginner riders into mountain biking by creating welcoming and inclusive spaces for learning new skills and trying new activities. In this position you can help build the MTB community up around Fayetteville by sharing our awesome trails with the world. 

Position runs Late-May through October.


  • Spread the love for cycling through education and encouragement
  • Execute professional, fun, and inspiring programs
  • Respond to client questions and concerns
  • Manage risk associated with mountain biking
  • Maintain Arrowhead Bike Farm quality for programs
  • Inform riders about proper riding technique
  • Maintain rental fleet 
  • Ensure proper fit of bikes for clients and educate clients about bike fitting
  • Participate in Guide Orientation with Program Director
  • Accurate completion of program paperwork


  • Guiding and outdoor group leadership required
  • Mountain bike instructor certification helpful
  • Basic First Aid & CPR certification required or the ability to acquire by start of season
  • Must be able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 70lbs
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency riding a mountain bike
  • Knowledge of Arrowhead Trails preferred
