Farmyard Skills and Race Day

Join us for a day of skills sessions at our new Skills Park and some fun short track races! Throughout the day we will have FREE clinics for kids and adults focussed on overcoming the features in the skills park. This includes navigating rock gardens, riding drops, and riding skinnies. Feel free to come to one or all of the clinics being offered. We will have Short Track races after lunch for riders of all levels!

10:30-11:15	Navigating Rock Gardens for Kids (6+ years old) Clinic Skills Include: Body Positioning, Ratchet Pedaling, Rock dodge Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before clinic
11:30-12:15	Navigating Rock Gardens for Adults Clinic Skills Include: Body Positioning, Foot Wedge, Ratchet Pedaling, Rock dodge Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before clinic
1:15	Kids Short Track Race Start by the Campground
2:15	Adult Short track Race Start by the Campground
2:15-3	Managing Drops for Kids (6+ years old) Clinic Skills include: Slow speed Roll Downs, Roll-Down Lunge, Moderate to high speed drops Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before Clinic
3:15-4:00	Managing Drops for Adults Clinic Skills include: Slow speed Roll Downs, Roll-Down Lunge, Moderate to high speed drops Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before Clinic
4:15-5:00	Riding Skinnies for Kids (6+ years old) Clinic Skills include: Bike body separation, weighting your hands, riding straight lines Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before Clinic
5:15-6:00	Riding Skinnies for Adults Clinic Skills include: Bike body separation, weighting your hands, riding straight lines Meet at Bike Shop 10 minutes before Clinic

 

Required Gear:

• Face Covering 
• Closed-toed shoes
• Clothes comfortable to exercise in

 

Recommended Gear:

• Sun Screen
• Sunglasses
• Layers to stay comfortable outside
